Things to Do
This section is still very much under construction. We plan to have a couple of organized activities (the first one is below) and some links to other points of interest as the web site is updated. Check back soon!
Myrtle Beach has various activities for vacationers in March. Kingston Plantation has several pools to choose from, and the ocean is always open (although it might be a bit chilly). In addition, there is a fishing pier and shopping locations nearby. We will also be providing brochures for several local attractions in the welcome bags for everyone from out of town.
Golf Outing: Some of you may have heard that Myrtle Beach has a golf course or two. We thought we'd take advantage of that fact and give everyone a chance to get at least one round in while you are all here. So, the morning of the wedding (Friday, March 20th) we'll be organizing a golf outing at Arcadian Shores, which happens to be the Kingston Plantation golf course, and is an easy walk from the wedding site. Exact time and costs are TBD, but we plan to have the serious golfers start first and play a standard round, while those of us who would need to start on Tuesday to make it to the wedding on time will play 4-man best ball teams. Everyone is welcome to play, and there are many club rental locations in Myrtle Beach if you don't want to bring yours. So that we can get an idea of how many people are interested, please e-mail Erin and let her know how many people you have and which group you would prefer to join.
